STRAWBERRY BREAD & STRAWBERRY BUTTER
My family has been making this for years, we love it. I'm sure you will too. Thanks for the great reviews. You must try the strawberry butter. I like the butter to be very cold or frozen when I eat it on the warm bread. I know the bread is good on its own, but it is excellent with the butter. It is definately worth your time and extra strawberries to make the butter. I'm sure it would make good french toast. I've never tried it, because it doesn't last long enough in my house for me to make french toast out of it. Enjoy!

- Combine eggs, oil & strawberries.
- Add to dry ingredients. Use a mixer and mix together.
- Pour into a greased and floured 9"x5" loaf pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 mins or until a toothpick comes out fairly clean.
- Serve with strawberry butter.
- Butter.
- Combine ingredients & blend with mixer. Serve with strawberry bread & enjoy.
- Note: This makes a lot more than needed for 1 loaf of bread. Store in a container in the freezer when not using. It lasts for a long time in the freezer. No need to thaw before next use. Just scrape some off with a butter knife and spread. (I like it better when it is a little frozen.).

NEIMAN MARCUS MONKEY BREAD WITH STRAWBERRY BUTTER RECIPE - (4.3/5)

Steps:
- Strawberry Butter: Whip butter in a bowl with electric mixer until fluffy. Fold in strawberry preserves. Return to refrigerator and allow butter to solidify. Neiman Marcus Monkey Bread: In the bowl of a stand mixer or in a large bowl, drizzle the yeast over the warm milk, stirring to combine. Set aside for a few minutes to hydrate the yeast. Meanwhile, in a separate large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar and salt. Using the paddle attachment with a stand mixer, or a hand-held mixer, beat the softened butter into the yeast mixture. With the mixer running, add the flour mixture until thoroughly combined, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed (as the dough thickens you may need to do this by hand). Continue to mix on medium speed until the dough appears sticky but becomes smooth to the touch when you roll a small piece into a ball, about 2 minutes. Form the dough into a disc and transfer it to a lightly greased bowl. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and set aside to rise in a warm place until doubled in volume, about 1 hour (time will vary depending on the temperature in the room). After dough has risen, turn out onto lightly floured work surface. Punch down and roll out to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into 2″ diamond shaped pieces. Dip each piece in melted butter. Arrange in a 4″ pie pan, 4 or 5 overlapping pieces per loaf. Allow to rise for 1/2 hour. Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until brown. Remove from oven and brush with more of the melted butter.
Tips:
- Fresh strawberries: Use ripe, sweet strawberries for the best flavor. If you don't have fresh strawberries, you can use frozen strawberries that have been thawed and drained.
- Unsalted butter: Unsalted butter is best for baking because it allows you to control the amount of salt in the recipe. If you only have salted butter, you can use it, but be sure to omit the additional salt called for in the recipe.
- All-purpose flour: All-purpose flour is the most common type of flour used in baking. It's important to measure the flour correctly to ensure the right consistency of the batter. Use a spoon to scoop the flour into the measuring cup, then level it off with a knife.
- Baking powder and baking soda: Baking powder and baking soda are both leavening agents, which help the bread to rise. Be sure to use fresh baking powder and baking soda, as old baking powder and baking soda can lose their potency.
- Sugar: Granulated sugar is the most common type of sugar used in baking. You can also use brown sugar for a slightly different flavor.
- Eggs: Eggs provide structure and richness to the bread. Be sure to use large eggs at room temperature for best results.
- Milk: Milk adds moisture and flavor to the bread. You can use whole milk, low-fat milk, or skim milk.
- Vanilla extract: Vanilla extract adds a classic flavor to the bread. You can also use other extracts, such as almond extract or lemon extract.
Conclusion:
This recipe for strawberry bread and strawberry butter is a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. The bread is moist and flavorful, with a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness. The strawberry butter is a decadent spread that is perfect for slathering on toast, muffins, or scones. Whether you're serving it for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this recipe is sure to be a hit.
