Tips:

  • Use fresh strawberries: Fresh strawberries have the best flavor and texture for this recipe. If you can't find fresh strawberries, you can use frozen strawberries that have been thawed and drained.
  • Hull the strawberries: To hull a strawberry, simply remove the green stem and leaves. You can use a paring knife to do this, or you can simply use your fingers to pinch the stem off.
  • Slice the strawberries: Slice the strawberries into thin slices. This will help them to distribute their flavor throughout the cheesecake.
  • Use a high-quality cream cheese: The cream cheese is the main ingredient in this cheesecake, so it's important to use a high-quality brand. Look for a cream cheese that is smooth and creamy, with no lumps.
  • Let the cheesecake chill for at least 4 hours: This will allow the cheesecake to set properly and develop its full flavor.
