My husband's grandmother served us this pie many years ago and we loved it. It has become a family favorite. It can be made with sugar-free jello and pudding if you prefer. It's a nice, light summer treat.

1 prepared graham cracker crusts or 1 vanilla wafer pie crust
4 cups strawberries, sliced
1 (3 ounce) package strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
1 (3 ounce) package vanilla pudding mix (the cooked kind)
2 1/4 cups water
6 tablespoons Cool Whip

Steps:

  • Place strawberries in the pie shell.
  • Set aside.
  • Mix jello and pudding with water.
  • Heat to a full boil, then remove from heat.
  • Pour over berries and chill.
  • Top with 1 T.
  • Cool Whip, if desired.

This is one of my very favorite recipes!!! I was first introduced to it years ago at Thanksgiving by my aunt. It was a huge hit then and still is every time I make it! 1 6" reduced fat graham cracker pie shell
1 .3oz pkg sugar free strawberry jello (or half of a .6oz pkg)
1/4 c boiling water
2 6-8oz containers fat free or light strawberry yogurt
1 8oz container free cool whip

Steps:

  • 1. Dissolve the jello in 1/4 cup boiling water.
  • 2. With a wire whisk, stir in yogurt, one at a time.
  • 3. Gently fold in cool whip until completely incorporated.
  • 4. Pour mixture in pre-made pie shell.
  • 5. Refrigerate at least 4 hours. Preferably overnight.
  • 6. Top with more cool whip and/or fresh strawberries! YUM!!

Steps:

  • Bake pie shell let cool, cut up 4 cups of fresh strawberries pour into cool pie shell, Take 1 -3 oz. pkg of cooked vanilla pudding, 1- 3 oz. pkg of strawberry Jello 1 1/4 cup of water bring to a boil . when it has thicken pour over strawbeeries. when put in refrigerator.

  • If you don't have a graham cracker crust, you can make your own by crushing graham crackers and mixing them with melted butter. Press the mixture into a pie plate and bake it for 10 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
