3 pounds ground turkey
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 medium green pepper, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
3 cups ketchup
2/3 cup water
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook turkey in batches until no longer pink, breaking into crumbles, 8-10 minutes per batch. 1 (6 ounce) can spicy vegetable juice or 6 ounces salsa
1/2 cup catsup
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons chopped canned jalapeno peppers or 2 chipotle chiles in adobo, minced
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
