French's use to make a mustard with tiny sweet onions in it and I loved it. They no longer make it so I found this recipe and it is kind of like that mustard. Really good on sandwiches and especially good on hot dogs. Can be canned for gifts also

1/3 c yellow mustard seeds
2 Tbsp dry mustard
1 c warm water
1/3 c cider vinegar
1 small sweet onion minced
2 clove garlic minced
1/3 c brown sugar
2 Tbsp honey
salt

Steps:

  • 1. Combine mustard seeds, dry mustard and warm water. Let sit for 4 hours.
  • 2. Combine vinegar, onions, garlic brown sugar and salt and cook over med heat for 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in seed mixture. Blend until smooth with an immersion blender or food processor or blender.
  • 3. Stir in honey.
  • 4. If canning water bath for 15 minutes

10 clove garlic
1/4 c fresh parsley chopped
1/4 c sugar
1/4 c dijon mustard
2 c extra virgin olive oil
1/3 c champagne vinegar
1/2 c water
1 tsp each salt and pepper
