4 sweet potatoes, cut into chunks
1 ⅓ cups white sugar
¾ cup milk
3 eggs, beaten
¾ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 ½ cups brown sugar
1 ½ cups chopped pecans
¾ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup margarine, melted

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup large pecan pieces
1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter
1 large onion, coarsely chopped (about 1 cup)
4 cloves garlic, minced
5 1/4 cups Swanson® Chicken Broth (regular, Natural Goodness¿ or Certified Organic)
2 bay leaves
2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes (about 4 cups)
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
3 tablespoons thinly sliced fresh chives

  • Stir the hot sauce, Worcestershire and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper in a small bowl. Add the pecans and toss to coat. Spread the pecans in a single layer on a jelly-roll pan.
