T-bone steaks au cognac is a classic French dish that combines the rich flavor of T-bone steaks with the smooth, nutty taste of cognac. The T-bone steak, which is cut from the short loin, is known for its tenderness and marbling, while the cognac adds a subtle sweetness and depth of flavor. This dish can be prepared in a variety of ways, but the most common method involves pan-searing the steaks and then finishing them in a cognac-based sauce. The result is a juicy, flavorful steak with a rich, complex sauce.
