Time 10m

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 (18-ounce) bag tortilla chips
1 (16-ounce) can refried beans
1 (15-ounce) can queso dip or nacho cheese sauce
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons taco sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spread the chips out in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 5 to 8 minutes, until the chips are warm.
  • Heat the refried beans in the microwave or in a small saucepan on the stovetop over medium-low heat until they're warmed through. Add 1/4 cup water (or more as needed) to loosen the beans.
  • Whisk the milk into the queso dip. Depending on the brand of queso dip, you may only need 1/4 cup or you may need more than 1/2 cup. The goal is to thin out the dip so it's easy to drizzle onto the plate.
  • Heat the cheese mixture in the microwave on the stovetop over medium-low heat until it's warmed through. If you added too much milk, whisk in a few tablespoons of grated cheddar cheese.
  • Line a large platter or four large plates with the warm tortilla chips. Spoon the refried beans over the chips, followed by the queso dip. Drizzle the enchilada sauce over the chips and serve immediately.

COPYCAT TRIPLE LAYER NACHOS

Copycat Triple Layer Nachos image

Last week at work there was some chatter about how it had been a year since Taco Bell® took the Triple Layer Nachos off their menu and how they were missed. I set out on a mission and this is what I came up with. Note: the restaurant chain sells their own line of refried beans, queso, and sauce so that makes it all the more easy to recreate this at home. This will dirty 4 pans but it is so worth it!

Number Of Ingredients 9

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh ingredients will give your nachos the best flavor. If possible, use fresh tomatoes, onions, and cilantro.
  • Don't overcook the beef: Overcooked beef will be tough and chewy. Cook the beef until it is just cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Use a good quality cheese: The cheese is one of the most important ingredients in nachos. Use a good quality cheese that melts well, such as cheddar or Monterey Jack.
  • Layer the nachos properly: The order in which you layer the nachos is important. Start with a layer of chips, then add the beef, cheese, and your favorite toppings. Repeat the layers until you have used all of the ingredients.
  • Bake the nachos until the cheese is melted and bubbly: This will help to hold the nachos together and make them easier to eat.

Conclusion:

These XXL copycat beef nachos are a delicious and easy-to-make snack or meal. They are perfect for parties or game days. With a few simple tips, you can make nachos that are just as good as the ones from Taco Bell. So next time you are craving nachos, give this recipe a try. You won't be disappointed!
