Steps:
- Mix garlic, lime juice, tequila, and agave nectar in a large bowl. Add pineapple, tomato, onion, radishes, jalapeño, and halibut and toss to coat. Fold in avocado, cilantro, and mint; season with salt.
- Chill 10 minutes before serving.
Tips:
- Choose fresh halibut: Look for halibut that is firm and has a mild, slightly sweet smell. Avoid halibut that is slimy or has a strong fishy odor.
- Use a good quality tequila: A good quality tequila will help to give the dish a more complex flavor. Look for a tequila that is 100% agave and has a smooth, slightly smoky flavor.
- Don't overcook the halibut: Halibut is a delicate fish that can easily be overcooked. Cook it just until it is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve immediately: Halibut is best served immediately after it is cooked. This will help to preserve its delicate flavor and texture.
Conclusion:
Tequila lime halibut is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a special occasion. The combination of tequila, lime, and cilantro gives the dish a bright and flavorful taste. Serve it with your favorite sides, such as rice, beans, or vegetables.
