Tips:
- Use a variety of vegetables: This will add flavor and color to your hash. Some good options include potatoes, carrots, celery, onions, and peppers.
- Cook the vegetables until they are tender: This will help them to brown and caramelize, which will give your hash a delicious flavor.
- Use a well-seasoned cast iron skillet: This will help to evenly distribute the heat and prevent the hash from sticking.
- Don't overcrowd the skillet: If you do, the vegetables will not cook evenly and will become mushy.
- Cook the hash over medium heat: This will help to prevent the vegetables from burning.
- Stir the hash occasionally: This will help to prevent the vegetables from sticking to the skillet.
- Season the hash to taste: You can use salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, or any other spices that you like.
- Serve the hash hot: This is when it is at its best.
