Tips for Making Tortellini Skewers:

  • Choose high-quality tortellini. Fresh or frozen tortellini will work, but dried tortellini will not cook evenly on the skewers.
  • Parboil the tortellini before grilling. This will help them cook evenly and prevent them from becoming dry.
  • Use a variety of vegetables. Cherry tomatoes, zucchini, bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions are all good choices.
  • Season the vegetables with olive oil, salt, and pepper. You can also add other herbs and spices, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or Italian seasoning.
  • Alternate the tortellini and vegetables on the skewers. This will create a visually appealing dish.
  • Grill the skewers over medium heat until the tortellini is cooked through and the vegetables are tender. This will usually take about 10 minutes.
  • Serve the skewers with your favorite dipping sauce. Marinara sauce, pesto, or a simple vinaigrette are all good choices.
