Tips:

  • Select a tender cut of flank steak: Look for flank steaks that are well-marbled with fat, as this will help keep the steak moist during cooking.
  • Marinate the steak overnight: Marinating the steak in a flavorful mixture of olive oil, garlic, herbs, and spices will help tenderize the meat and infuse it with flavor.
  • Cook the steak over high heat: Flank steak is a relatively thin cut of meat, so it is important to cook it over high heat to quickly sear the outside and prevent the steak from overcooking.
  • Let the steak rest before slicing: Once the steak is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the steak, resulting in a more tender and flavorful steak.
  • Pair the steak with flavorful sides: Grilled vegetables, roasted potatoes, or a fresh salad are all great sides to serve with flank steak.

Conclusion:

Flank steak is a versatile and affordable cut of meat that can be cooked in a variety of ways.
