4 ounces Brie cheese
4 slices rye bread
1 (28 ounce) can tomato puree
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
⅛ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
¾ teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon white sugar
¼ cup milk
4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients. The better the ingredients, the better the sandwich will be. Use fresh, ripe tomatoes for the bisque and a good quality brioche bread for the grilled cheese.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan. When cooking the grilled cheese, don't overcrowd the pan or the sandwiches will not cook evenly.
  • Cook the grilled cheese over medium heat. This will help to prevent the bread from burning and the cheese from melting too quickly.
  • Serve the grilled cheese immediately. The sandwich is best served hot and fresh out of the pan.
  • Experiment with different cheeses. There are many different types of cheese that can be used in a grilled cheese sandwich. Try using a sharp cheddar, a gooey mozzarella, or a creamy brie.
  • Add other ingredients to your grilled cheese. You can add other ingredients to your grilled cheese sandwich, such as bacon, avocado, or roasted vegetables.

The truffled brioche grilled cheese with tomato bisque is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.
