ACTUALLY DELICIOUS TURKEY BURGERS
This is a simple and delicious recipe. After making them the first time my husband said 'no more' to beef burgers. These are really good - any cooking method may be used, and they freeze very well. The recipe can also be used for meatballs or meat loaves.

Tips:
- Choose high-quality ground turkey: Look for ground turkey that is fresh and has a lean-to-fat ratio of at least 85% lean. This will ensure that your burgers are moist and flavorful.
- Season the ground turkey liberally: Don't be afraid to use plenty of seasonings when making your turkey burgers. Common seasonings include salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. You can also add fresh herbs, such as parsley, cilantro, or basil.
- Mix in some bread crumbs or oats: Adding bread crumbs or oats to your turkey burgers will help to bind them together and prevent them from falling apart. You can use plain bread crumbs, or you can add some flavor by using seasoned bread crumbs or oats.
- Form the burgers gently: When forming the turkey burgers, be gentle and don't overwork the meat. This will prevent the burgers from becoming tough.
- Cook the burgers over medium heat: Cooking the burgers over medium heat will help to prevent them from drying out. Cook the burgers for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through.
Conclusion:
Turkey burgers are a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional beef burgers. They are packed with protein and nutrients, and they can be cooked in a variety of ways. With a little planning and preparation, you can make turkey burgers that are just as flavorful and satisfying as beef burgers. So next time you're looking for a healthier burger option, give turkey burgers a try!
