1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups rolled oats (preferably old-fashioned, not quick oats)
1 cup coconut (can reduce or even omit if desired)
1 cup raisins

  • After they're completely frozen, you may want to remove them from the pan and put them in a tupperware container.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients. This will make a big difference in the flavor of your cookies.
  • Make sure your butter and cream cheese are at room temperature. This will help them to cream together smoothly.
  • Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the cookies tough.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help the cookies to hold their shape.
  • Bake the cookies until they are just set. Overbaking will make them dry and crumbly.
