  • Choose the right Chex cereal. Regular Chex, Honey Chex, or Chocolate Chex can all be used in this recipe. If you want a sweeter mix, use Honey Chex or Chocolate Chex. If you want a more savory mix, use Regular Chex.
  • Use a variety of mix-ins. This recipe calls for pretzels, nuts, and candy, but you can use any mix-ins you like. Some other popular options include popcorn, crackers, dried fruit, and chocolate chips.
  • Season the mix to taste. The recipe calls for a simple seasoning of salt and pepper, but you can add other seasonings to taste. Some popular options include garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, and cumin.
  • Bake the mix until it is crispy. The baking time will vary depending on the type of Chex cereal you use and the size of your oven. Be sure to keep an eye on the mix so that it doesn't burn.
  • Let the mix cool completely before serving. This will help the mix to set and the flavors to meld together.
