Tips for Making the Best Very Berry Fruit Salad:

  • Use fresh, ripe berries. This will ensure that your fruit salad is bursting with flavor. If you can't find fresh berries, frozen berries will also work well.
  • Choose a variety of berries. This will give your fruit salad a more complex flavor and texture. Some good options include strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and boysenberries.
  • Rinse the berries thoroughly before using them. This will remove any dirt or debris.
  • Cut the berries into bite-sized pieces. This will make them easier to eat and will also help to prevent them from bruising.
  • Add some sweetness. If your berries are not very sweet, you can add a little bit of sugar, honey, or maple syrup to taste.
  • Add some acidity. A little bit of lemon juice or lime juice can help to balance out the sweetness of the berries and make the fruit salad more refreshing.
  • Add some crunch. Adding some chopped nuts, seeds, or granola to your fruit salad will give it a nice crunchy texture.
  • Chill the fruit salad before serving. This will help to keep it fresh and flavorful.
