My sister gave me this recipe. It is easy to make; you can make it as bad for you (use white bread and cream!) or good for you (whole grain bread, soy milk, nonfat milk, or nonfat sour cream, and reduce whole eggs to two and use two egg whites, and half the butter).

Tips:

  • For the ultimate creamy texture, use fresh corn kernels. If using frozen corn, thaw it completely before using.
  • Don't overcook the corn pudding. It should be set but still slightly wobbly in the center.
  • For a richer flavor, use heavy cream instead of milk. You can also add a tablespoon of butter to the batter.
  • Season the corn pudding to taste. Salt, pepper, and garlic powder are all good options.
  • Serve the corn pudding warm or at room temperature. It can be eaten as a side dish or as a main course.

Conclusion:

White corn pudding is a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. So next time you're looking for a comforting and satisfying meal, give white corn pudding a try!
