2 cups all-purpose flour
1-3/4 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup cold butter, cubed
1-3/4 cups buttermilk
1-1/2 cups fresh blueberries
1 tablespoon sugar

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the flours, brown sugar, baking powder and baking soda. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in buttermilk just until moistened. Stir in blueberries.
