Steps:
- Heat the oil in a deep-fryer to 365 degrees F (185 degrees C).
- Separate the onion slices into rings, and set aside. In a small bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder and salt.
- Dip the onion slices into the flour mixture until they are all coated; set aside. Whisk the egg and milk into the flour mixture using a fork. Dip the floured rings into the batter to coat, then place on a wire rack to drain until the batter stops dripping. The wire rack may be placed over a sheet of aluminum foil for easier clean up. Spread the bread crumbs out on a plate or shallow dish. Place rings one at a time into the crumbs, and scoop the crumbs up over the ring to coat. Give it a hard tap as you remove it from the crumbs. The coating should cling very well. Repeat with remaining rings.
- Deep fry the rings a few at a time for 2 to 3 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove to paper towels to drain. Season with seasoning salt, and serve.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Cut edges off onion, and remove outer layer. Cut onion into 1/2 inch wide slices, and separate into rings. Next, fill a small bowl (just large enough for onion rings to fit in) with Egg Beaters.
- Using a blender or food processor, grind Fiber One cereal to a breadcrumb-like consistency. Pour crumbs onto a small dish.
- One by one, coat each ring in egg and then crumbs (give each ring a shake after the egg bath). Place on an oven-safe baking dish sprayed with nonstick spray. Cook for 20-25 minutes, flipping rings over about halfway through.
- **Although you'll only actually use a quarter cup, it may be easier to dunk the rings if you dole out a bit more Egg Beaters while preparing.

Tips:
- Use a mandoline slicer to get evenly sliced onions. This will help the onion rings cook evenly and look more professional.
- Soak the onion rings in milk for 30 minutes before coating them in the breadcrumb mixture. This will help the breading adhere to the onions and prevent them from falling off during cooking.
- Use a deep fryer or a large pot of oil to fry the onion rings. This will help them cook evenly and prevent them from becoming soggy.
- Fry the onion rings in batches so that they don't overcrowd the pot or fryer. This will help them cook evenly and prevent them from sticking together.
- Serve the onion rings hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Conclusion:
These WW-friendly onion rings are a delicious and satisfying snack or side dish that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are made with simple ingredients and can be prepared in just 30 minutes. So next time you're looking for a fun and easy recipe, give these onion rings a try!
