Tips:

  • To ensure the chicken is evenly coated in the marinade, use a large resealable bag or container.
  • Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight. This allows the flavors to penetrate the chicken and results in a more flavorful dish.
  • If you don't have buttermilk on hand, you can make your own by adding 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar to 1 cup of milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes before using.
  • To prevent the chicken from drying out during cooking, baste it with the marinade every 15-20 minutes.
  • If you're using a grill, preheat it to medium-high heat before cooking the chicken. This will help to prevent the chicken from sticking to the grates.
  • Serve the chicken with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a salad.

Conclusion:

Yogurt ranch dressing marinated chicken is a versatile and delicious dish that can be enjoyed for lunch or dinner. The yogurt and buttermilk in the marinade help to tenderize the chicken, while the ranch dressing adds a creamy and flavorful coating. Whether you're grilling, baking, or frying the chicken, this recipe is sure to be a hit.
