Yield 10-12 people

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 large package of frozen hash brown potatoes
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1, 8 ounce container of sour cream
2 cups of grated Cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper
4-6 chopped green onions
1 cup of crushed corn flakes

Steps:

  • Thaw potatoes in large bowl. Combine soup, sour cream, and 1 1/2 cups grated cheese; mix together, then add to potatoes. Mix well. Pour in buttered oblong dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Then add rest of cheese on top with crushed corn flakes. Return to oven until cheese melts, about 10 minutes.

Tips:

  • For crispy potatoes, use a baking sheet instead of a baking dish. This will allow more air to circulate around the potatoes, resulting in a crispier texture.
  • Cut the potatoes into uniform sizes so that they cook evenly.
  • Toss the potatoes in a mixture of oil, salt, and pepper before baking. This will help to season the potatoes and prevent them from sticking to the pan.
  • Bake the potatoes in a preheated oven. This will help to ensure that they cook evenly.
  • Keep an eye on the potatoes while they are baking. They should be cooked through but not overcooked.
  • Serve the potatoes immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
