Tips:

  • Choose the right zucchini. Look for firm, straight zucchini that are about 6 inches long and 2 inches in diameter. Avoid zucchini that are too large or have blemishes.
  • Use a spiralizer to create zoodles. A spiralizer is a kitchen tool that can be used to create long, thin strands of vegetables. If you don't have a spiralizer, you can also use a vegetable peeler to create zoodles.
  • Cook the zoodles briefly. Zoodles only need to be cooked for a few minutes, or they will become mushy. You can cook them in boiling water, in a stir-fry, or in a microwave.
  • Add your favorite toppings. Za'atar zoodle salad is a versatile dish that can be topped with a variety of ingredients. Some popular toppings include cherry tomatoes, crumbled feta cheese, chopped nuts, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
