I've experimented a few times and have found these to be some of the best turkey burgers I've eaten.

Categories     High Protein

Time 25m

Yield 6 Patties

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 lb ground turkey
1 cup flour
1/4 cup butter (melted)
1 cup breadcrumbs
to taste pepper
as needed vegetable oil

Steps:

  • Separate ground turkey into 6 equal parts and form into patties.
  • Put flour, melted butter, and bread crumbs into separate bowls. Mix pepper into bread crumbs. (If you don't have bread crumbs, what I typically will do is microwave the moisture out of bread slices, then crush them in a ziplock bag. 4 to 5 slices will suffice.).
  • Pour vegetable oil into a large fry pan, enough to coat the pan. Heat, on stove, to medium heat.
  • Coat each patty in flour, butter, and bread crumb mix, in that order.
  • Once heated, add the patties into the fry pan and fry for approximately 15 minutes, turning occasionally.
  • *Optional* For added spice, you can sprinkle the patties with cayenne pepper as you begin to fry them.

These burgers are a great way to use up leftover turkey. I always make a few extra burgers at Thanksgiving and freeze them for later.

These burgers were a bit bland for my taste. I think I would add more herbs and spices next time.

These burgers were easy to make and turned out great! I cooked them on the grill, and they were perfectly cooked through. The breading was crispy and the turkey was flavorful.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my burgers turned out really dry. I followed the recipe exactly, but they just weren't very good.

These burgers were okay, but I've had better. The breading was a bit too thick for my taste, and the turkey was a little dry.

I'm not a big fan of turkey burgers, but these were surprisingly good! The breading was crispy and flavorful, and the turkey was moist and juicy. I'll definitely be making these again.

These turkey burgers were a hit at our summer cookout! They were moist and flavorful, and the breading added a nice crispy crust. I loved that they were a healthier alternative to traditional beef burgers, and my guests couldn't tell the difference.
