1/2 cup skim milk or 1/2 cup 1% low-fat milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons maple syrup
2 tablespoons raisins
1/4 cup uncooked couscous
ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Heat milk, vanilla, maple syrup, and raisins in a saucepan over medium heat until hot and steamy. DO NOT BOIL!
  • Stir in couscous, cover, and remove from heat.
  • Let stand for 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve warm.
