Buffalo Hot Wings-Anchor Bar Style image

These are the best hot wings IMHO. I don't like my hands to be really sloppy and the trip through the oven after frying solves this. Add as much heat as you like. I prefer the flavor of Red Hot sauce, but use your favorite. Add some Cayenne pepper to kick it to your desired heat level. Serve with my blue cheese dressing. Serves one hungry wing-lover or up to 4.

Overall, I thought this recipe was just okay. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my wings didn't turn out crispy at all.

The wings were a bit dry. I think I should have cooked them for a shorter amount of time.

These wings were a bit too spicy for my taste, but I'm sure they would be perfect for someone who likes their food hot.

I'm not sure why this recipe calls for baking the wings before frying them. It seems like an unnecessary step.

The only thing I would change about this recipe is to add a bit more cayenne pepper to the sauce. I like my wings spicy!
