Butterscotch Easter Nests image

I got this recipe from a childrens cookbook. Original recipe called for peanutbutter chips, but we just love butterscotch. If anybody has peanut allergies you can leave out nuts. The salt or seasalt is a must for these sweet and salty treats.

I've tried making these nests with different types of chocolate chips and they're all delicious. My favorite is to use a combination of semisweet and milk chocolate chips.

The butterscotch chips add a wonderful flavor to these nests. I also like to add a few chopped walnuts for extra crunch.
