Caramel Apple Dessert image

Sliced apples bake into the top of this rich, tempting cake. It's easy and fun because the caramel sauce forms while it bakes. For more fiber and color, leave the peel on the apples. To make yummy Caramel Pear Dessert Squares, substitute 2 cups sliced peeled pears for the apples. Enjoy!
