I made these cookies for a special ladies event. One lady made me promise I would give her the recipe. The next time I saw her she was mad at me for not getting the recipe to her sooner. Little did she realize that I was moving and hadn't had a chance to give it to her. Everywhere that I take these cookies, people ask for...

Number Of Ingredients 2

1 1/2 c. flour, 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1/2 tsp. salt, 12 oz. bag butterscotch chips, 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1 tbsp. water, 1/2 c. light corn syrup, 12 oz. can mixed nuts
CARMEL BRICKLE BARS

Steps:

  • 1. Mix first 4 ingredients and pat in greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350' for 10 min. Cool. Melt until smooth: Chips, then add butter, water and corn syrup. Pour over crust. Sprinkle can of nuts over top of mixture and pat down. Bake 10 minutes more a 350 degrees. Cool 1/2 hour before cutting.
