Caraway Potatoes - Kommenkartofler image

An easy side dish from Christian's Danish Recipes.

Number Of Ingredients 5

24 small new potatoes
1/2 c fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp fresh dill, chopped
1/4 lb butter
1 Tbsp caraway seed

Steps:

  • 1. Boil potatoes until tender in salted water. Drain. Peel. (I don't peel mine).
  • 2. Garnish with parsley and dill and serve doused with melted butter to which the caraway seeds have been added.

Solid recipe overall. The potatoes were crispy and the caraway seeds added a nice flavor. However, I found that the bacon overpowered the other ingredients a bit. Next time, I'll use less bacon or cook it for a shorter amount of time.
