CHEESE AND FRESH HERB QUICHE image

This dish is so versatile it can be enjoyed at any meal. It makes a good, hearty breakfast by itself; paired with a salad for lunch; or with a hot bowl of soup for dinner. Leftovers should be refrigerated. Recipe & photo: Tasteofhome.com/simple

1 9" refrigerated pie crust
1/2 c shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 c shredded swiss cheese
1/2 c shredded gruyere cheese
1/2 c crumbled feta cheese
5 eggs
1 c half and half
1 Tbsp minced fresh basil
1 Tbsp minced fresh parsley
2 tsp minced fresh dill

Steps:

  • 1. Sprinkle the cheeses into the pie shell. In a large bowl, whisk eggs and cream until blended. Stir in herbs. Pour over top of cheese.
  • 2. In a preheated 400º oven, bake on a lower rack for 25-30 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
  • 3. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
