Chipotle Berry Fruit Salsa image

Not too hot, but with a bit of a kick, this salsa is a perfect topping for grilled fish or chicken. It's also a delectable chip dip-just double the recipe and watch it disappear. The spice is quite mild, but cut down on (or increase!) the chipotle peppers to suit your taste. If you like, add lime zest for an added twist. -Trisha Kruse, Eagle, Idaho

This salsa is a great way to use up leftover fruit. I had some berries that were starting to go bad, and this was the perfect way to use them up.

I was a bit hesitant to try this recipe because I'm not a big fan of spicy food. But I'm so glad I did! The salsa has just the right amount of heat, and the sweetness from the fruit balances it out perfectly.
