Chipped Beef with English Muffins image

This is a quick, easy dish for a cold night or whenever. My kids can make this with little help and they love it.

1 package English muffin
1 tablespoon butter
1 (10 ounce) package extra-sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 package dried beef, chopped fine
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons mayonnaise

Steps:

  • Split English muffins and butter them lightly.
  • Toast in the oven under the broiler.
  • Combine all remaining ingredients in a bowl.
  • Spread mixture over toasted muffins.
  • Place muffins back into the oven until the cheese bubbles.
