Christmas Eve Pork Pie image

Here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, it is a tradition for the Catholics to eat pork pie on Christmas Eve, after coming back from Christmas Eve mass. This is a cousin of the French-Canadian Tourtiere. I'm not Catholic, but I love these rich meat filled pies!

This pork pie was a bit dry. I think I would add more liquid to the filling next time.

I'm not a big fan of pork, but I really enjoyed this pie. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the gravy was rich and creamy.

The pork pie was good, but I found the crust to be a bit too thick. I would probably roll it out thinner next time.

This pork pie was a bit bland for my taste. I think I would add more spices next time.
