CHRISTMAS MORNING SAUSAGE ROLL-UPS image

My late husband, Michael, invented these years ago, not long after we were married, and not a single Christmas morning has gone by without them ever since. Our son carries on the tradition with his family.

These were too greasy for my taste. I think I'll try a different recipe next time.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my roll-ups turned out soggy. Maybe I didn't cook them long enough?

I added some chopped green peppers and onions to the filling for extra flavor. The roll-ups were a big hit with my kids.

Not a big fan of crescent dough, but these roll-ups were surprisingly delicious. The filling was flavorful and the dough baked up crispy.

These sausage roll-ups were a cinch to make and turned out perfectly golden brown and flaky. Will definitely try them again with different fillings.
