Number Of Ingredients 11

1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
Salt to taste if desired
3/4 cup plus 3 tablespoons heavy cream
2 tablespoons melted butter

1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup corn kernels freshly cut from the cob

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

These corn sticks were a little bland for my taste. I think I'll add some extra seasoning next time.

I've tried many corn stick recipes, but this one is by far the best. The addition of sour cream and green onions gives them a unique flavor that I love.
