Cranberry Brisket image

I make this brisket in the crock pot on low 4 to 6 hours. As the brisket cooks it will caramelize and take on a beautiful dark color and give it a deep, rich flavor. Recipe Source~ allrecipes.com

1 (3 pound) beef brisket
1 c catalina salad dressing
1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
1 (12 ounce) package fresh cranberries

Steps:

  • 1. Place brisket in crock pot.
  • 2. Combine the Catalina dressing, onion soup mix & cranberries in medium mixing bowl. Mix until combined. Pour over brisket.
  • 3. Cook in crock pot on low 4 to 6 hours. 9 points per serving

Not bad, but not great. The brisket was a little dry and the cranberry sauce was too sweet for my taste.

This is my go-to recipe for brisket. It's always a crowd-pleaser, and the leftovers are even better. I like to serve it with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables.

Just made this dish last night and it was a hit with the whole family! The cranberry sauce added a nice tang to the beef, and the whole thing was so tender and flavorful. I'll definitely be making this again.
