my Christmas table would not be the same without these succulent balls. I make them often in the winter after my dad and uncle get their bow hunting in. If you can't get vension they are equally good with ground Elk or ground beef

I'm not sure what went wrong with my deer balls, but they turned out really tough. I followed the recipe carefully, but I think I might have overcooked them.

These deer balls were a bit dry for my taste, but the flavor was good. I think I might try adding some more moisture to the mixture next time, maybe some grated carrots or applesauce.

I followed the recipe exactly and the deer balls turned out perfectly. They were cooked through but still juicy, and the cranberry sauce was tangy and sweet. I will definitely be making these again.

I've made these deer balls a few times now and they're always a crowd-pleaser. They're so moist and flavorful, and the cranberry sauce is the perfect complement.
