Cranberry Mold, Ma image

This was in Ma's recipe file that I found in NC in 2019. This is the cranberry salad I have been looking for the recipe for to have at Thanksgiving! So glad I finally found it!

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 lb cranberries, grind
2 oranges
1/2 orange rind
1 c sugar
2 pkg lemon jello
3 c water
diced apples
celery
nuts

Steps:

  • 1. Put cranberries, oranges, orange rind and sugar together and let sit in fridge overnight.
  • 2. The rest is just ingredients, however it makes sense that you would combine the remaining to make into a cranberry mold.
  • 3. Molds were very commonly used in the 60s and 70s to form a jello based ring. If you don't want to use a mold, put it in whatever you want to serve it in...
