Yield 4 servings.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 cup Spanish brandy, warmed
1 cup light rum, warmed
3 tablespoons sugar
1 stick cinnamon
Peel of 1/2 of a lemon and 1/3 of an orange
4 cups strong coffee, hot
2 teaspoons coffee beans

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients except coffee and beans in a flameproof bowl or pot. Ignite the mixture. Let the flames burn, stirring occasionally until the alcohol burns off and the flames die out. Add the coffee slowly and the coffee beans. Or, for a more alcoholic drink, dowse the flames with the coffee slowly before they die out. Serve in mugs.

I'm allergic to nuts, so I used almond milk instead of whole milk. The cremat turned out just as good.
