Steps:
- 1. In the bottom of a slow cooker, layer 1 can sauerkraut, 1 pound sausage pieces, half the onion slices, 1/2 tsp. bouillon, and half the spices. Repeat layers.
- 2. Cover and cook on low setting for 7 to 9 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
- 3. Serve with a green salad and a dish of spiced apples.
