Deluxe Turkey Club Pizza image

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 (10-ounce) can refrigerated pizza crust
2 teaspoons sesame seeds
TOPPING
1/4 cup reduced-calorie mayonnaise or regular mayonnaise
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 tablespoon thinly sliced fresh basil or 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
4 ounces deli turkeys breast slices, cut into 1-inch strips
6 slices bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces, cooked
2 small Italian plum tomatoes or 1 small tomato, thinly sliced
1/2 cup (2 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 425°F. Lightly grease 12-inch pizza pan or 13 x 9-inch pan. Unroll dough and place in greased pan starting at center, press out with hands. Sprinkle sesame seed evenly over dough. Bake at 425°F. for 10 to 12 minutes or until crust is light golden brown.Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine mayonnaise and lemon peel blend well. Spread mixture over partially baked crust. Top with Monterey Jack cheese, 1 tablespoon basil, turkey strips, cooked bacon and tomatoes. Sprinkle with Swiss cheese. Bake at 425°F. for 7 to 9 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted. I've made this pizza twice now, and it's quickly become a favorite. The crust is perfectly crispy, and the toppings are all delicious. I highly recommend adding the avocado dressing - it really takes the pizza to the next level.
