Dian's Cajun Pasta Salad image

This is my Go-To salad for caters and potlucks. In the time is takes to cook the pasta, you can have the rest of the ingredients assembled. The peas go in frozen to help cool the salad immediatly. You can use real crab meat or Surimi Imitation Crab found in the freezer section or seafood section (Costco) of a well stocked market. It's great with fresh cooked salad shrimp also. I use Lighthouse Brand Garden Ranch because it has bits of carrot and green onion & looks and tastes great. Cajun seasoning can be an aquired taste so feel fee to adjust the seasoning or leave it out for a more kid friendly salad. This is one of my most requested recipes. Enjoy!

I love this salad! It's so easy to make, and it's always a hit with my family and friends. I usually use a store-bought Cajun seasoning mix, but I've also made my own using the recipe on the back of the Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning bottle. Either

This salad is a great way to use up leftover pasta. I usually have some leftover penne or rotini in my fridge, and this is a great way to use it up. I also like to add some chopped vegetables to this salad, such as bell peppers, celery, and carrots.

This is a really good pasta salad! I used a mild Cajun seasoning, and it was still plenty flavorful. I also added some chopped red onion and fresh parsley. This salad is a great side dish for grilled chicken or fish.

I'm not a big fan of Cajun food, but this salad is an exception. The dressing is creamy and flavorful, and the Cajun seasoning is not too spicy. I also love the addition of the corn and black beans. This salad is a great way to use up leftover pasta.

This Cajun pasta salad is a great make-ahead dish. I often make it the night before a party or picnic, and it's always a hit. The flavors really meld together overnight, and the salad is even better the next day. I highly recommend this recipe!
