Dried Cranberry Scones image

I go on vacation with my best friend to Michigan every July. Her cousin is allowed to come, too-but only if she brings her special cherry scones! I make them with cranberries for the holidays. Don't try to double this recipe. If you need more than 12, make two separate batches of dough. -Sherry Leonard, Whitsett, North Carolina

These scones were a bit dry, but the flavor was good. I think I'll try adding a little bit more butter or oil next time.

These scones were good, but a little too sweet for my taste. I think I'll try reducing the amount of sugar next time.

I'm not a huge fan of Cranberries, but these scones were still really good. The flavor was subtle and the scones were moist and fluffy. I would definitely make these again, even without the Cranberries.
