Dried Fruit Sauce for Fresh Fruit image

Number Of Ingredients 3

1/2 cup each of water and apple juice
1/2 cup dried cherries
Confectioner's sugar or honey to taste

Steps:

  • Bring water and apple juice to a boil; pour over cherries and steep for as long as possible. Sweeten to taste if need be with sugar or honey. Serve hot over ice cream, fresh fruit or cake.
