Fruit Cocktail Cake image

2 c flour
11/2 c granulated sugar
2 tsp baking soda
2 large eggs(lightly beaten)
1 can(s) fruit cocktail (15 ounces)
1 c brown sugar
1 c chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • 1. Mix flour,granulated sugar and baking soda together in large mixing bowl.Add eggs and fruit cocktail.mix and pour into a lightly greased and floured cake pan(a 13x9inch or two 8 inch cake pans)Sprinkle brown sugar and chopped walnuts over top of batter.
  • 2. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean.Great served with cool whip topping
