Steps:
- Heat oil in a deep-bottomed pot and add sausage. Cook until browned.
- Add onions and sausage and cook until tender. Then add chili powder, corn, kidney beans, and tomato paste and stir to combine.
- Add enough water to cover the contents of the pot. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20 minutes.
- Serve alongside a toasted French baguette.
