Glazed Ham Balls image

This recipe is great to use use up ham from a roasted ham and is a different meat ball than beef, chicken etc..served as a finger food but I would suggest you studded them with colored fancy toothpicks and people are quite surprised when you tell them that they are HAM BALLS..enjoy

3 eggs
1 1/4 c quick cooking oats
2 1/2 c fully cooked ham
1 c milk
sauce
1 c brown sugar, firmly packed
3 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1 3/4 c pineapple juice
1/2 c corn syrup, light
3 Tbsp cider vinrgar
4 1/2 tsp dijohn mustard

Steps:

  • 1. In bowl combine eggs, milk, oats and ham,,get your hands in there and mix until well combined...make one and one and a half balls..Place into baking pan with sides .
  • 2. In saucepan combine all sauce ingredients bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes...pour over ham balls and bake in 350F oven for35 to 40 minutes....
