- Chop 1/4 cup peanuts and set aside. Place remaining peanuts in a blender. Cover and process for 5 minutes or until smooth and spreadable, occasionally scraping sides of bowl. Stir in the chopped peanuts. Add salt and orange zest if desired. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. May be refrigerated for up to 1 month.
