Greek Turkey Burgers image

Seasoned with oregano and topped with a creamy cucumber sauce, turkey burgers capture the great taste of gyros.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1/2 cup Yoplait® Fat Free plain yogurt (from 2-lb container)
1/4 cup chopped red onion
1/4 cup chopped cucumber
1 lb lean ground turkey
1/2 cup Yoplait® Fat Free plain yogurt (from 2-lb container)
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4 whole wheat burger buns, split

Steps:

  • Heat gas or charcoal grill. In small bowl, mix sauce ingredients; refrigerate until serving.
  • In medium bowl, mix all burger ingredients except buns. Shape mixture into 4 patties, about 1/2 inch thick and 5 inches in diameter.
  • Place patties on grill over medium heat. Cover grill; cook 8 to 10 minutes, turning after 5 minutes, until thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 165°F. Serve patties in buns with sauce.
